Drift French Cup
Drifting is a motoring discipline in which the driver intentionally oversteers while maintaining control for the entirety of a corner. The goal being to keep the rear wheels from gripping the road at all times while on the set runway, and thus be awarded maximum points.
It takes place exclusively on an asphalt runway and is judged according to several criteria.
Drifting cars are rear-wheel-drive vehicles, which means that the rear wheels are the driving wheels and power the vehicle.
All drifters get individual passes one after the other on a part of the circuit decided by the Judges, through a set of linking corners, the whole being assessed with a score from 0 to 100.
Battles' rules are different!
Each heat comprises two passes, with each driver taking a turn to lead. The best qualifier leads the first pass.
